Default What should a Tektronix 434 scope cost

My neighbour is selling his Tektronix 434 scope.
It is a dual channel, 20MHz, "memory" scope.

Any idea what is should pay for it ?

grtz

Default Don't know value in your region

Assuming the probes come with it, a big question is whether you can get some type of warranty.

Hard for me to say value in the netherlands while I'm in US, however, It is possible that if it has a variety of probes with it, the probes might be worth as much as the Scope

Default Have a look at this website...

Tek scope prices on eBay:
http://www.vaxxine.com/phil/scopes/scope$.htm

Also, you can do a search on eBAY for "completed auctions" to see what they've been going for lately. That way, you can check the item description to see what kind of condition each one is in and get a better handle on what they're worth.

Oh, and at the top of that page, there's also a link to a similar page with probe prices.
