Nope. I'm assuming you are talking about a dummy load of 4 or 8 ohms with a given power handling capability. All the UP300 cares about is the voltage across the dummy load.
The UP300 with its limited maximum input voltage tells me it was meant for automotive audio applications.
You need to know how much output voltage a power amplifier is capable of delivering at full power output before you can hook up your new toy's input. Not doing this can fry its front end.
