Hi
i just bought an Advance Type E Model 1 sig gen
the valve type. Its going to be to high value output for testing audio amplifier s, right?
it starts at 100Kc/s and goes up from there. I make valve audio amplifiers, this is radio frequency right?
Is there any remedy? I dont have a schematic but these are pretty common i think. Made in England.
Or sell it and start again?
It wasnt much and i scored a large box of Useable tubes (maybe not the 5k volt rectifier).

late 1940s vintage RF generator. Only useful for EMC testing I would say. If you want an audio sig gen, not the right tool.
I think there is an Advance audio signal generator from the same era. Google will tell you its name.
