I tried measuring my new Tracker Pre using ARTA and REW running on Windows 7 and Windows XP with same results(See below). The phase doesn't seems to be correct.
Line Out --> Line In
Impulse Response
Freq/Phase Response
The phase response doesn't seems here.
And tested in REW
I tried Balance and unbalance TRS cable for the loopback test, but with the same results.
Does anyone has E-MU Tracker Pre with phase issues while trying to perform a loopback test?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I'm using a straight TRS cable(Below)

You just have a polarity inversion somewhere. Maybe you're wiring is configured to the wrong side of the XLR input or maybe you have polarity flip in the ARTA software.
Cheers,
Dave.
Beside flipping the polarity, the phase in the freq response seem illogical going from -180 to 0 and then to 180.
If you have ARTA in the FR2 mode you'll need to loop the right channel too. Are you doing that?
Dave.
No issues in dual channel mode, the differentiation mode will correct this problem.
But not in single channel mode.
I just rechecked my Tracker-Pre.
It looks good with a loop-back configuration identical to yours. Either you have a bad cable and/or you have one of the "invert phase...." check-boxes activated on one of the impulse record setup screens. (That would explain the negative-going pulse.)
Cheers,
Dave.

Thanks Dave,
I have check my setting in ARTA, the "Inverse Phase of Input Channel" is not selected. I bought a new cable to rerun test again, but with same results. Testing the cables on my E-MU 0404 USB and M-audio USB Transit, cables are working fine.
