Default block diagram channel strip

I have posted a new block diagram for the input channel strip for a digital work surface (i.e. "console") I am working on. It is posted on my blog Plymouth Audio | Home of DIY Working Class Audio I tried posting it here but apparently I cannot upload but can only provide a link.
If you don't know, my project is a digital work surface like the ICON series Pro Tools offers, but I am gearing it as a standalone midi system or for use with Audacity, the open source hard disk recording platform. I cannot integrate directly into Pro Tools because they aren't interested in supporting hardware projects- especially those that might compete with their own products - but it could be used with Pro Tools if desired.I am looking for comments, criticisms, and anyone interested in this project to help with the process so a useful result is achieved for all.

Thank you

Gary Ferguson
