I have a Fluke 97 scope that the back light EL panel isn't working any more. I am guessing that I can just hook a replacement sheet EL panel in its place, but I am wondering if the power supply to the panel from the fluke will power the other panel. I assume it has the proper inverter already built into the board since the panel has two spring contact pads for the stock EL panel. I am probably over thinking this but just want to make sure.
