Tektronix 453 (Fet version) HELP

Hi all
I have this scope. Its the transistor fet version. It works great. Just busy calibrating it, and found that the channel 2 trace shifts upward when I pull the invert switch.
Is this normal? If not how do I fix it.

There is a balance trim pot for that - assuming no defects - find the pot and adjust it until there is no change when going from normal to invert. you may have to adjust the vertical control to keep the trace on the screen while making the adjustment.

[I dont have schematic but you can buy on the internet a maintenance manual somewhere.]

The balance pot I think is the screwdriver adjust on the front panel.

I was able to get the balance to work pretty well, but it wasn't terribly good down to the lowest range or two...
