Default J406 substitute?

This is a very interesting circuit:

Doble Trazo.pdf Trazo.pdf

To convert a single trace oscilloscope in a double trace for very little money, and work up to 20MHz.

Can be buy a good cheap scope of a single beam, as a Hameg HM-103, and make double-beam, which is very useful.

The problem is that can't find the J406. Any suggestions to replace it?

Happy days.

Well. LS845 seems that also is not available.

Any other ideas? Maybe some way to replace the input circuit?

Happy days

Farnell list an NXP - PMBFJ620,115 dual N Channel FET. I haven't checked the data sheet.
I guess that FT1 is a dual FET so that the dc offset betwen the two inputs is low. But then R12 offsets the traces anyway. As performance is compromised why not just use two single JFETS and save up for a dual trace Oscilloscope.

Thanks again. Yes, no problem to use two single JFETS.

What do you recommend easy to find?

Happy days
