CLM6000 LDR. WHERE TO BUY

Hello,
Does anyone know of a reliable source I can buy some CLM6000 LDR's from? These LDRs do have a high defect rate, so I need a reliable source.

I thought nobody was still manufacturing photoconductive LDR's, but I recently came across "Silonex" at < Silonex Inc.: Products: Audiohm Optocouplers >. You might try their NSL-32.

My neighbor has access to hard to find parts. They have NOS on the CLM6000!!

We made our own when, 35 years ago, this stuff was financially "unobtainium". It seems, it is again. As long as you have a working unit, some experimentation, this seems simle enough to do! E

Do you know who makes the photoresistive cells? I had the impression that ROHS directives (cadmium) made their manufacture impractical.
