Anybody got a idea where I can find a Fluke 12 ? My first one was stolen a few years ago - a friend gave me one of his - that has now died. After using these pretty exclusively for about 15 years - i just find myself fumbling around with my other meters - just used to how the 12 operates. There's one on evilbay right now - but frankly it looks pretty rough and the display is going.

How did it die? You could get an RA# from Fluke and send it in to them. AFAIK they have a flat fee for repair, with an extra fee if you want calibration. That's what I did about 5 years ago when my 79's display went south. IIRC it cost ~$100 and she's been working like new ever since.
