Hi, I bought this Pan International Model 178 SWR/POWER/MOD/FS METER & MATCHER at a flea market this weekend. But im a newbie and don`t know how it works. Anybody got any info about it, or how to use it?

Is that a HAM radio antenna test meter?

It's probably intended for the CB market but should work okay with ham radio gear. Not an audio device, only for radio frequencies to determine degree of impedance mismatch.
From the picture I can't tell what the power range is. CB radio is allowed a maximum of 5 Watts and ham radio a maximum of 1500 Watts so that should be an indicator. |
