Marconi TF2005R

hi, i've just been offered a - Marconi TF2005R twin-tone low-distortion oscillator and attenuator. Will this be good enough for amplifer fault finding and testing?

the simple answer is yes as the attenuator section also includes balanced signal outputs as well as unbalanced to be able to test both input types of your amplifiers.
The use of the two tones is most common for IMD tests and the residual THD for each oscillator is below 0.03% on both the TF2005R's I have.
