The normal benchtop Bosch tools seem to run about the same price as the better stuff here. I just picked up a Bosch 12" miter saw. Same price as the Dewalt 12" but in a completely different league. Those crazy Germans really know how to make tools. Love my Bosch cordless drill as well.

Use Wera for screwdrivers. Anything else is crap in comparison -- except Swedish Bacho, of course.

In the crap pile...

Klein tools are pretty decent and fairly comfortable to use, but the Wera has them beat in my opinion. Try a Wera with laser etched Philips tip and you will see what I mean. McMaster-Carr carries them.

Tom, thatīs a problem with us being an international bunch of friends. Some of your fav tools may have no dealer in other states and have a different name in foreign countries. Hell, I consider Bosch middle class and anyone in the US has to pay twice of the German price.

True that. For small tools like screwdrivers shipping is less, hence international borders matter less. For power tools it's a much bigger deal.

Add to that that we Europoodles donīt only have different plugs - tools made for 240volts50hz instead of your 115/60 can do very funny things.
Yours bought per ebay and used here can do nice fireworks too.
