Surely there are hamfests (amateur radio conventions), electronic equipment/junk swapmeets, or what do they call them over there - "boot swaps" or something all over Europe?

If you ever get to the US this has you covered:
Hamfests and Conventions Calendar
Surely there's some site listing hamfests in your area.
I've seen (and sometimes bought) old/cheap/crude-but-operating scopes for $5, and something more usable like a working Hitachi 15MHz bandwidth for $20.
