DY294 Digital Transistor Tester

Many Ebay sellers are presently selling this cheap product:
Digital Transistor Tester DY294 | DUOYI Electronics Co., Ltd.
Anyone can briefly review this product or or just say if it is good or bad?

You can get away with a cheap multimeter for testing transistors.
So long as you can measure HFE and know the transistor is working that should be fine.

Unless you want to curve trace transistors I woudl stick with a multimeter.

Hi, I'd like to measure hFE at various current levels (for matching) and iceo (since I have a bunch of old transistors). And... my wife would be happy to see around a small device instead of some large box (who knows why...).
