Default Help! Adcola Soldering Iron.... ????

Hi all

A few days ago a friend of mine gave new a very nice vintage soldering iron.

Its an ADCOLA 24v, 50W, 50Hz, L444, Electronic Control Iron.

I would like to know how does one change the tip on this iron. It seems to be press-fitted as there is no screws that holds it nor any mounting device.

Any ideas appreciated!

Maker :-

L & M Products

The 444 tip is the same as the current K2000 range according to the site and fits with a Stainless steel shim - Pulls out?? maybe

Maybe an email to the makers will get an answer

Thank you Spiny!

I mailed them and they replied with a good amount of information. Seems there is still service backup for these old tools. Old but great.
