I just picked up a junked Tektronics 2225 scope from work. When I plug the unit in it will not power up, not even a hint of life.
I've checked the fuse and did a little probing on the PS board. The mains is getting through to on/off switch and I measured roughly 60VDC across the large cap on the vertical PS board. Is there a common failure for these units that might cause this? It looks pretty clean inside, no dust build-up or anything. I really need a scope so I hope there is a simple fix. If not, I'll have to give it up for parts. Pic of inside
