Elso,
quite opposite with me, never got used to Ersa. Be it regulated or not.

I am quite fond of my Weller WSD 130.
The WSP 80 iron (80W) attached to it is as handy and abalnced as an expensive fountain pen. And the second iron, MLR-21 / 25W i just the right thing for very delicate work.

I'm planing to buy some decent quality soldering iron. ERSA multitip series are about 30 euros. How good are they?

Thank you.

the best, and may i say better than weller....
Yes i may say so, i HAD to use weller cause it was free but was i glad to get to MY ersa again, Weller has been known to have problems with variable current (in Washington state a daily problem from 102v upto 141V ???????)
