Ale M reviewed the ETracer on his website, EML 20-AM DHT curves and model Bartola(R) Valves

The fellow who designed the Etracer, Chris Chang, has several videos on how it operates:

Does anyone have experience with the etracer? Is it good?

Hardware? Software? Support?

Yes, that's the links from the essues / etracer website.

Anything else? Any hands-on experience from diyAudio members?

I doubt it, as most members have the uTracer, but I could be wrong... btw, both of the above reviewers are also members of diyAudio.

Just found this comparison of tube curve tracers. It seems the etracer ticks many boxes in a good way, but it's still the new kid on the block.

The software is distributed as a Windows binary only. It would be great if the Python software were open source, or at least the Python module to control the device were available to users.

It took a few hours, but the fellow offering the device responded to my emails. Ron Dekker responds as well and has recently put out some suggested modifications for semiconductors.

Yes, he's a nice guy. I just wanted to see if anybody who is not affiliated to the company would provide some insight.

Your Review is very positive, probably because that's how things are. But you never know... Maybe there are other, more critical opinions out there that would not be linked on the etracer website. I was just hoping to get a few more voices before jumping in.
