HVLP means Hi Volume Low Pressure compressed air, what do you want?
Airless sprayers are not very suitable for Polyurethane or smallish, fine finishes.

I would look towards a small air compressor with a decent sized tank, and a hvlp gun from harbor freight.

Probably would also need an air hose, and to be sure and flush out the oil that comes in the compressor and use some Mobil One Rarus or other suitable oil. While you won't be able to paint a car with that small of a tank, it will do well for hobby use.
