Perhaps you know of a good manual or a link to a good site for taking measurements with and calculating time, frequency, duty cycle, etc on older o-scopes.
I'm looking for something that describes the various measurements of sine, square, triangle, etc with various duty cycles, and calculating them, etc.
Maybe older HP & Tek manuals, Military manuals, or links to good sites, etc. I looked at google, but found not so good information. Tek and Keysight seem hell bent on pitching their all-in-one, do-everything for you scopes so we don't need to crunch the numbers any more.

Is it measuring with an oscilloscope of the frequency (Hz) or period (x sec) of a repeating signal that you are interested in, like this?
