Actually the young Dan A looks a bit like me
Oh come now Jan, you know a good craftsman never blames his tools!
Alan
Haha, no I don't blame them, they're just not up to me
Yes, the project is progressing. I am putting together a few units for beta-testing, probably send one or two out next week.
See pictures.
I have completed the calibration procedure to set the accuracy and to adjust for flat frequency response out to 100kHz.
You need a signal source and a reasonable accurate AC multimeter, but for signal source you can use your sound card.
When the beta-testing turns out OK I will start up the Kickstarter, probably next January.
Thanks for your interest,
Jan

Thanks Bob, coming from you, means a lot.
But compared to some of the creations here on this forum, I am really just a tinkerer.

Serious question: what soundcard(s) are people using today? Mine is the Asus Xonar U5 (amazon link) , should I collapse from embarrassment and upgrade immediately? Is there anything seriously good that costs less than a fancy dinner for four?
Thanks a million

Aren't they all the same?
I'm still using an EMU0204.
