Hi,

while planning a measurement, check system I am now going for:

-Audiotester software
-M-audio external USB interface 96/24
(already there for speaker measurement)

- Pete Millet's Sound Card Interface, RMS Voltmeter
- Victor's low distortion oscillator 1 and 10kHz
- Curryman DAC power supply PCB (convinient Power supply solution)

All wrapped up in a 19inch enclosure.

Still some parts missing, front will be neater labeled, etc....

The BNC and cinch connectors on the front are fine.
Can be easily adapted to any possible connector.
Have to check whether the RCAs are on GND now or not, but that can be easily modified. GND lift switch.

The USB power supply of the soundcard interface was omitted, as well as the separate power switch.

The powersupplies from the curryman DAC are simply convinient to use.

With 1 and 10kHz I have two very low distortion signal sources.
For other frequencies or sweeps I can happily live with the PC generated tones with a little higher distortion.

I was glad to be able to put readily available PCBs together to a customized solution.
This gives me a largely widened measurement / check posibilities, with 'high' accuracy.
For 'highest' accuracy I don't have the need, in doubt I can ask freinds with AP, Rohde&Schwarz equipment.:)

Best
Thomas
