Main power cap.

Must be at-least 2,000 uFd; today this will be a 2,200 uFd cap. I know the IG and there is IMHO no reason to go crazy-oversize here; there's more filtering down the line.

Must be at-least 75 Volts. 80V or 100V is not wrong.

IIRC, the original is Axial, leads at both ends.

Mouser has a listing for an axial 2200u 100V, Nichicon TVX2A222MDD, but it is non-stock, and quite over-priced even if they would let you order less than 73(??).

Pick something from skidave's link, based on price or color or size. SLPX222M080C3P3 is as good as any of they others (it is better than the original which lasted 40+ years). Drill two 1/8" holes in a clear area where the old cap came out, strap it down with a plastic tie. Note carefully the old polarity, the new polarity, and run wire jumpers from the new cap's little tabs to the old cap's PCB holes.

There are loads of them on E-Bay, buying such a rudimentary component should pose no "fakes" problems.

As the cap is quite expensive you could try a smaller 100uF 100V then measure the DC voltage across it. You might find that you can get away with a lower voltage cap that would save you some money. Cap nominal values and voltages have changed over the years so what was available yesterday will not be quite the same as what is available today.
