Hi guys.
I saw a review on this tester. It can help detect/find shorts on circuit boards. Does anybody own one of these testers?
Is it worth the money? What other ways are there of finding shorts on pcb's?
Lets get the discussion rolling......

It's an old idea and has been around a while. Another option is described at Toneohm 950 multi-layer shorts locator
I vaguely remember playing with a Toneohm unit many years ago and they work OK. It is mainly going to sit in the corner of the work bench and be useful only occasionally.
After a while the whistling gets annoying, it was a bit like a theremin.
Another way of finding shorts is to use a 4 wire measurement technique by using a settable current limited power supply connected across the short circuit of interest and using a mV meter to find out where the voltage is lowest.
