My cheap bench power supply

Thought I would share a few pictures of the power supply I made for about $30-40 usd. It has +/- 5 and 12 volts at 1 amp each and a variable 2-22 volt 3 or 4 amp transformer(I forgot because had it forever)but uses lm317 and 337 regulators so is only good to 1 amp(till I put in pass transistors ,future project)
The case used to be a VCR Let me know what you think.

Already planning adding digital voltage display for variable regulator section.

Hi

im holding on to an old vcr for its case .

Please replace the 2 wire mains lead with a 3 and protective earth the chassis . You could also add an earth terminal post to the front panel as a reference

Good general purpose power supply. Everyone needs one for design and testing thier prototypes.

Gonna replace when it thaws out got one in garage just used what was handy for testing.
