AA5381 ADC news.
Hello,
The AA5381 ADC project is now terminated for me.
It work perfectly, but i'm a little disappointed of lower performances, if i compare it
to my previous design with AK5394.
It's very hard to really compare ADC chips before building a real design, unfortunatly ADC vendors doesn't give same specs parameters. And often forget very important specs...
The main big interest of th ADC is to allow isolated the measurement to the computer, and it's very small size is very convenient.
If i summarize it's specs:

Analog to digital converter using Cirrus CS5381CZZ chip.
24 bits operation.
Selectable sampling rate by rear switch to : 48kHz/96kHz/192kHz
Selectable input type by rear switch to : Single-ended of differential
Selectable input coupling by rear switch to : AC of DC.
Digital offset cancellation to remove any offset in DC coupling by rear switch.
Input sensitivity of 7.07Vrms (20V peak to peak), with resolution of 420nVrms.
Low jitter master clock.
Ultra-low input bias current.(depends on input buffer used).
4 layers PCB with massive ground plane and power plane.
optical and coaxial digital outputs.
Need only +/-15V DC supply.
If DIYers are interested to build it, i will help them with pleasure.
Then I will sell circuit boards if enough DIYers want to build it.
For more facility, the PCB will be sale with the pre-programmed PLD.
Each buyer will receive all design files.
All DIYer really intersted to build one can just send me PM or answer in the thread to encourage me to create a new wiki to make a group buy for it...

Did I meet something wrong with the setting?
This is the noise floor of ADC AK5393
and this is my R-2R VCS volume contorl module noise floor
they are nearly the same!
then, I put my PCM1702 DAC to the test system: PCM1702 DAC - R-2R VCS attenuator - AK5393 - SOUNDCARD
I got the noise floor of the DAC:
When I change the DAC to another TDA1541, the result is:

Oscillators pcb arrived!
Hello,
Some news for the group buy of oscillator PCB.
I have receive today PCBs by Fedex.
Again a very good job of pcbcart.
Unfortunatly, i had need to pay little customs fees..
Fortunately, it's only 15.96€ to be divised by the number of board
giving 1.3€ for each board ~1.63$ (today).
I'm sorry for that..
(Despite many worldwide buy, i really don't know yet how French customs work !....)
Each buyers will receive very soon (this week-end) a e-mail with
a zip file wich include all needed files to build the oscillator.
I'll send also a copy of the Fedex invoice for customs.
I hope to ship all circuit-board in the next week, as soon as you
will paid this little extra cost.
