Elekit 8200 Tube rolling

Yep. Here's info I had received from Tamura-san as for 6p3s and 6p3s-e.

Dear Mr.Somogyi,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Yes, it is about the anode dissipation.
Actually it has to be 25 watts.
KT66 is OK because it is 25 watts, that is the least line,
20 watts is a bit too small.
It might be OK to use it for a while, but the tube life will be shortened for sure,
and some other trouble could occur, so we cannot recommend it.

Best regards,

Dear Tamura-san,

Thank you very much.

I was wondering if anode dissipation is any issue? 20 watts for 6P3S as far as I recall (may be design center value). I think KT-66 has 25 watts value.

I ran a KT88 for a short period. It was nice. I was borrowing them so I had to give them back. I only had a day with them. I have a pair of RCA (made by tung-sol) 6550's that are sublime. The KT88 that I tried was a bit more aggressive. The 6550 was more pretty sounding but still had grunt.
