If that is the case, then use them. Nothing worse can happen using a 35V cap.

Again great news thank-you ! Plan B would have been to purchase some Mundorfs as Partsconnexion have them at 40% off.

Pro's - Not as expensive as Evox-Rifa
Con's - ESR not as low as Evox-Rifa

Panasonics are good power supply caps for the money.
You can also look at EPCOS, they are between Panasonic and Evox-rifa for price, ESR and ripple current rating.

I just got a PS board.

A couple things to consider for the next batch.

I have a bunch of 35mm caps and can't fit 8 on the board. Only needed the spacing to be a little farther apart.

The pads for the power resistors seems a bit small. Will have to scrape some of the solder mask off so the joint doesn't fail from the heat.

Hi,

I will keep that in mind in the event of future revisions.

Thanks for your feedback!

Also wouldn't hurt to make the diode boards with wider traces, bigger solder pads for the diodes and holes for larger gauge wire. A goes lot of current goes through those boards.

Would 172,000uf be to much ? Just found a great deal on 22,000uf 25v caps. Thinking of using 8 of them for a F5

The V+ and V- pads are 5.5mm apart while the Ground pads are 6mm apart.
