OH NO!!!!
Dude I am afraid you pulled out the polariser film. With out it image from LCD will not be visible. A WARNING FOR ALL Some lcd's do not have an anti glare film to remove. The Anti Glare surface is kind of a MATT finish liquid which is sprayed on to the Polariser film. I am afraid it may not be possible to restore your LCD back to the original form it will not stick back again properly.Try cello taping the edges. If you use any glue between the film and the LCD it will be visible in the projected image also. Polariser film itself is availablefrom certain sources you may buy that and stick it on your LCD also. But could be a costly affair. polarizer film available here In my humble opinion it is not worth removing the Anti glare considering the risk involved and the gains are only marginal. I also feel if the Anti glare is present screen door effect is less visible. Thanks, Gitesh Quote:

Try the transparent fevifix but once cured difficult/ impossible to remove. You can try feviGum also but bond wont be that strong but if you screw up u can remove the adhesive easily.Make sure there are no air bubbles in the adhesive layer. Diluting fevi gum with water may help in reducing air bubbles. After applying adhesive and sticking film stick the edges with cello tape.
Wish you good luck.. Keep posted on the developments. PIDILITE adhesive products |

Hi All,
I still don't have a triplet lens, I am using the ordinary OHP lens. It would be really good if anyone has a spare lens. I am not getting a triplet here in Delhi and Lensel Pune is not responding. Or, somebody in Pune can help me get the lens. The help is highly appreciated. Amit |

Hi Guys
,Yes, you read it right, I got it going !!! ![]() First thing I did was to put the polarizer film back, I used Fevicol ![]() The glue is not visible after drying. Yes, its not like the original anymore, but acceptable. For brightness I had to fine tune the LCD. Earlier I had just increased the brightness to full, but the image was still dull. When I increased the contrast to full, the image got much brighter. Will be preparing a silver screen for it now, lets see how it goes. Thank you all for the help and all the best for urs Amit |
