I build it and it works. The problem is that brightness and contrast changes dramatically usign SVideo or VGA source, so if you have to change them very often it would be very unconfortable.

I also wasn´t able to take the levels to the right values using the VGA source, but I have to admit that as I am not using this projector maybe I didn´t give it enought time.

Something is telling me that my English today is not as good as it could be

ok, i just bought this projector and made your cable and all i am getting is a blue display, any suggestions?
all of the pins are right(atleast as far as being attached physically, electrically with my crappy soldering job is another matter haha)
used a da-15 from a old sound card and a vga cable from a monitor
pins 1 6 and 13(projector side, its 6 7 and 8 on the vga) are all shorted together being part of the braid

db15/da15 color
1/2 pink
2/5 grey
3/9 blue
5/14 red
6/1 ground
7/6 ground
8/13 ground
9/15 green
10/11 white
13/3 orange
14/12 yellow

this is how the cable is assembled, i DID get the right order right?
db15(CONECTOR VGA MACHO)
da15(CONECTOR DB15 HEMBRA)
hope i didnt reverse it heh...
