Mustek DVD player

Hi!
I've a little problem with my DVD player.

It's a Mustek DV300K(home).
The problem is this:
When I'm viewing a DVD, it stops the picture and I can hear the picku running from one side to another.
I've changed the DVD unit for another new one, and the problem persists.


Can any1 help me?

I assume you have tried different DVD's? Could be a bad disc.

i onse had a mustek scanner pfffft... brought it back to the store in Brussels and told them to keep my money

i really hope your dvd player is not in this category!!!!!

i have a very cheap dvd player a MINTEK i like it
non progressive scan though

Of course!!

Well, i have a very cheap dvd player a MINTEK i like it .
I must say: they are the same!
The difference is in the box.
All of this cheap Home DVD players have the same PCB inside.
A lot of brands use the same chip, like LG and Pioneer.

The problem is the one I've told.
I only want to know if some1 knows if the problem could be with the IDE controller of the decoder PCB.
