Hey ShagMan, I saw your ebay listing for this item! Looks pretty cool. My question to you, and everyone else, though, is this: will this lens work with a 17" panel? Also, will it work with a 15" panel? By work, I mean have respectable focus, being more or less able to show an entire desktop with very respectible uniform lighting and focus. Also, this'll work best with standard 330? mm fresnels, correct? Thanks
P.S. Good luck with your auction! |

I was working with this lens on a 15.4" 16x9 panel, and I was getting excellent results... I had a few setup problems and gave up... I had used a 220mm fl fresnel on the light side, and a 400w MH... so it was hot, and I wasn't getting good light spread, plus it was getting the LCD and IR glass kinda hot. So I gave up. BUT, the lens is great, it'll throw some major light out, and will definitely cover a 15" LCD no sweat... a 17" LCD I'm not sure about, it *might* with the right fresnel.
