Default overhead projector question

hi, i was wondering whether you could completely take the halogen bulb and transformer out of a OHP and replace it with a metal halide kit like this:

http://www.diyprojectorcompany.com/c...products_id=49

can this be done? i was wondering this because metal halide has pure white light and halogen does not.

Thanks very much
