Question What LCD panel would be bestto use with the xbox360?

I was wondering... if I want a panel only for xbox and xbox360 (non-hd, only need 640x480 res), what do you guys recommend? Thanks!

why would you want a non-HD panel? the whole reason to get an xbox360 is because all games are in HD. at least get a 1024x768 panel.

I do not have the money to do that. My friend plays his 360 on a standard 28" TV and it looks fine. I want to get that just a lot bigger.

i just cant believe you guys are taking 200-400 pixels and blowing them up to that size.

Hmmm...Well I just got my Dell 1702FP last night on ebay for 145 shipped, I'd say if you were going to do it I'd build an HD Setup,

1280x1024 (720p Capable)
16 MS Responce Time
almost 900:1 Contrast
DVI and VGA Input.

You'd get alot better of an image off a monitor like that, you'd be way more satisfied, the setup i'm building currently is pretty much strictly for gamming, xbox 360 style

IF you were to do the 640x480 way, you could probably go with an Overhead projector, and MOD it with the light mod to make it cleaner with much longer life.

Why do i need to mod the OHP? I can just get a super high lumen projector. But anyways, can you direct me to the place that can show me how to mod the projector (and why)? Thanks.

My reasoning for a 640x480 is..

1. Limited money (100-150$ for OHP and panel)

2. don't want to have to rip apart an LCD, knowing me, im clumsy, I'd break it.

I was wondering... would non hd xbox etc fill up the entire 640480 screen or just a part of it? (should I get a psx lcd if my only plan is to play video games because its resolution is closer to that of a standard tv?) It is cheap enough that I am comfortable taking it apart.)
