The design of DIY LCD Projectors have several dimensions. One of them being easy adjustability and fine tuning so that final image has optimum quality. This aspect is of interest to every one. Further the placement of the projector is related with proper utilization of space. We have been emphasizing these commen aspects only.

First off, in your post in this thread, you did not mention fine-tuning: you mentioned your throw distance and the fact that your room "is not cluttered with the projector". Even if you had mentioned fine-tuning, or even if the thread was related to what you posted about (throw, room utilization, et cetera), shardian's point remains that you are spamming. We know these "common aspects" that your projector has because you give us the link to your site in every thread you can, from the DIYaudio forums to the diyprojectorcompany forums.

Don't get me wrong, your projector looks very nice, and many people have probably drawn inspiration from it, but in almost every single thread, all I see is, "you may be benefited by our experience at ..." or "in our design, seen at...". In other words, I've visited your site about four times now, and have seen the link to it 25+ times.

You must realise this: if everyone did what you are doing, (advertising your attorney/DIY projector site in scads of threads), this forum and others would be full to the brim with posts advertising member's personal sites with a page about their projector.

That is not the purpose of a forum: a forum is a place at which knowledge about a subject is condensed into a smaller, easier to peruse form. That knowledge is contributed by posts, not by links (especially not by links to websites with a big advertisement for attorneys at the top)

I hope I do not come across as too rude in my post: I mean the utmost respect to you and everyone else on this forum, but am only expressing my opinion in the hopes that it may make this already wonderful forum into an even better one.

I have myself stopped posting from my side as certain members of this forum do not want progressive exchange of views.

You totally missed the point ramkishan. If you want to include your link, that is fine. Put it in your signature. There is no problem whatsoever with that. The problem is that you are posting off-topic just to have a reason to tell people to go to your site. We are not trying to run you off. You obviously did a good job on your PJ, and we all appreciate any advice you can give to others. Just please stay on topic and don't blatantly advertise your website

I don't want to be misunderstood in this forum and hence turned my attention to other three forums where I don't face such problems. The experts there appreciate our work and specifically highlighted the same. Based on such interactions, I go on enriching the web page on DIY LCD Projector which is part of my own web site. I don't need any publicity of my web site as already it is top ranking in 30 legal categories. DIY entrepreneurs by any strech of thinking are not going to be my clients. Few hits by them don't result in any earnings to me. So thanks a lot for the nice dialogue which we had. I am always open for rendering any details whenever needed from me but no more postings on my own.

Thanks for taking criticism in stride and actually listening to what we have to say. ( hint: I am being sarcastic.)

On a side note, at least we don't have to see your spam anymore. Oh and on another side note, the people who post here are the same ones who post on diyprojectorcompany, so you might as well protest and not post there too. While you are at it, go burn some flags or something since you don't agree with what we say.
