you can not cut some part of board, caon noty cut the power of 36v. dont remove .

the core of HQI is too bigger, the light system can not nice for bigger core .

Thanks, do you still have a source for your lamps/ballast/igniter or can you give me the specs?

Are the condenser and the reflectors that you used the ones that came with the projector? (They seem to be different in the pictures)

What did you use to buld the lamp holder base?

40$ for the lamp is a bargain considering that i pay (nin bulb specalized shop) 20$ in italy for the 36v halogen one that i normally use in EZPRO.

you can use the original condenser and the reflectors, that is easy to do.

I can give you new lamp holder base.

40$ for the lamp is OK! but you have to buy ballast.it need $80.

It's ok but since this month i've already depleted my "weird scientist" monthly budget i have to wait for next month for further experimantaions.

BTW can someone tell me where can i find a compatible condenser lens? I'm usein one that has the right focal lenght but it leaves some of the corers dark It cannot be noticed with letterbox movies nut is reallly annoying with the fullscreen movies.

One last question will this lamp generate more or less heat than the alogen one?
