Anybody modded the Litepro 550 the same as i got a cheap one off ebay but its a bit dim though the picture quality seems good. bit worried about cooling though, even though the fans make enough noise!!

yes! its a bit dim,so I upgrade that light system.
the original lamp is 3500k, that is too yellow.
new lamp is 9000K!!
FOLLOW ME :-) upgrade that light system.

Sorry i mean which lamp and ballast would you recommend that will take the same sort of cooling as the halogen?

Default Need Pinout

I really need the VGA pinout for the Epson ELP-3000 projector, (Y Cord, Epson P/N: 201 6049) anyone have any ideas on where I can get that?

At Epson you can search for the user manual and some other PDFs files.

Go to global Epson home page and then jump to the Canadian site, if I am not wrong you can search the files there.

Probably going off the subject a bit, but I have got an infocus screenplay 4800. It uses a 150W SHP lamp. My first question is what is the difference between SHP and UHP lamp and are the Metal Halide lamps. Secondly, can I do a MH conversion, using a single or double ended 150W HTI lamp and using the existing ballast inside the projector.

I did previously build a PS1 screen 250W HQI projector. Was not upto standard so have gone for the other option now as size and quality is a major factor to me. Any help much appreciated.
