OT: IKEA Napkin Ring

This is a little off topic... but what is the IKEA Napkin Ring reflector made for? I don't see how a napkin integrates with that, I guess you could stick one through the handle... or just lay it on top... but what's the point of the part we use as the actually reflector part? Don't get me wrong... i'm glad they exist, but I'm not sure what IKEA was thinking when they made them.

I think you are supposed to fold the napkin in some fancy shmancy pup tent/origami fashion, and sit it on top of the reflector part.

Either that or its a combination napkin holder and/or giant soup spoon/party hat.

Really though... I think you put the napkin in the ring part and some decoration in the bowl part...

that's what i thought maybe too... napkin in the ring and maybe mints or something in the bowl... i don't know

All I know is... if youre a guy, and your inviting the boys over to watch the game on your newly built projector, and dont live with a woman... I wouldnt advise you to set the snacks area up using these.

maybe it would be better used as an ash tray.... slip a cigar through the ring and accumulate ash in the bowl
