YWH, I have a Mitsubishi XL8U. The bulb is a 180w NSH. Does your post mean that these bulbs will not work with these projectors or they will work with these projectors?

YWH, Is that the only option? Can I use a Jyd DC lamp in my reflector?

Hi ! mrriso

that Is not the only option, that Is 100% successful.
I Can use a Jyd DC lamp in my reflector but a some risk.

there is a other way:
I can dig out a burner from a original projector lamp kit, and sell this burner to you. 100% successful and cheaper.
the reflector of original projector lamp kit is unwonted, so sell burner only.

Hello all.
New here, have read and learned quite a bit .
Very nice indeed.
Well between stepping up in quality of projectors and going through a couple I have taken yet another plunge on purchasing yet another projector.
My main decision maker for this new Olympus VP-1 project was this very forum and the availability of a lamp bulb for it. The bulb is 120W UHP
Here's a link: http://www.projectorcentral.com/Olympus-VP-1.htm

And the last production is 2005 so from what I've read it should be an AC current bulb. Lamp number I believe is: 205201

I also have made a purchase on an EIKI Projector LC4200 .
http://www.projectorcentral.com/EIKI-LC-4200.htm
The lamp number: 610 257 6269 , not sure on that one as the seller states that the projector lights and shuts off , well I'm not too familiar with the symptoms of powersupply / ballast / lamp problems. 195W Metal Halide
Here's a post that was in January 06 > Post #385
Not sure if there are any updates so are there any ideas on that one?

I primarily am looking for the bulb for the Olympus VP-1 and secondarily for the EIKI LC4200

I have read about the problems on finding a medium for mounting these lamps and have an idea if I may.
Has anyone tried hydraulic cement? It's a cement used for quick repair of water based problems in cement foundations and is fine in texture.
It sets very fast and is water based for easy cleanup.
I would also think it would handle the heat well.
====================
ywh <<<<<<Question for.
Needed: Bulb for Olympus VP-1 120w UHP ( if I go with a 150W or 200W bulb will I get more lamp hours? )

EIKI LC4200 195W Metal Halide

What bulbs will I need for these projects and how much total Shipped?

Looking forward to your answer~

Hi Dumbfounded !

the Bulb for Olympus VP-1 120w UHP is 120W JYD/AC, if you go with a 150W or 200W bulb will you get more lamp hours;-)

the Bulb for EIKI LC4200 195W Metal Halide is 200W JYS, but I dont know AC or DC, you have to check it, test the V of lamp, or give me a pic of the bulb. close pic

1*120W JYD/AC + 1* 200W JYS + Shipping =$105
