Hello Yu,
hello 18W, today I have got the lamp JYd200/Dc and I could successfully fit the bulb into the case. It now looks exactly like the orignal one. The projector worked fine for the first 5 minutes, light output was somewhat darker than with the original lamp. Light was steady for about 5 minutes. The problem arose after 5 minutes of usage. the projector began to stink, and the light output suddently became less and less and after anothe r30 sec there was almost no light output anymore! I switched off the projector (Sony VPL-VW10) ad once and I will test again tomorrow with the original lamp. The fressnell lens looks still ok and I really hope the LCDs did not sustain any damage. ****... I was hoping to have an alternative with your lamp. Any ideas if there is another option, a lamp with less operation temperature (but at least the same light output)? Salut, Markus |

Hi all, this is my first post. I bought myself a 3M 9550 OHP and a iyama 15" tft monitor not so long ago now. I've been over the moon with it and it still performs ok even though the little thick lens near the lamp has a crack in it (if anyone has a spare or knows where i can buy one new please let me know)...
I've just found an opertunity to buy these items second hand for only £37: 150W Metal Halide Lamp Lamp Base Ballast unit Well my idea is to simply place this MH lamp in place of the existing halogen lamp (removing the halogens obviously). The lamps physically look very similar (single ended) and i hope it will take minimum modifications to use in the 9550 body. Am i on the right track here? If it works should i strip out the 9550's electronics and fit the ballast etc inside the 9550's case? Regards, Xy. |

I was looking through ebay today and found a seller that sells the lamps/reflector for lcd projectors. Just the lamp no cage etc. Anyway the interesting thing is he says for instance 120 uhp projectors can use the 150 w UHP Bulbs and since they are being underpowered will last many more hrs . Sounds interesting and I am wondering about this but dont have the confidence yet to try it( I would just hget the 150w one from YWH By the way. Any thoughts???? Here is a Ebay link for a example 5842299522 PS NOTE IM not saying BUY THIS LAMP FROM THIS EBAY SELLER................IM just using it for information........

Hi to All,
I have infocus SP-110 this projector using 220 watt (mercury) bulb not UHP but UHM. YWH and 18wheeler do you think the UHP are compatible with this projector bulb your selling? I was planning to buy from you the replacement bulb for this projector. The projector came without the bulb so i cannot show you how its looks like. Thanks in Advance, Aaron |

Thanx YWH! I got it last week. I'm finally almost done with my yearlong project! (is that an oxymoron? -finally almost? Maybe I'm the moron) YWH, Do you or 18Wheeler happen to know the specs of the condensor and reflector? I mean, what are their respective focal lengths? Steamer

Got my new 120 watt UHP lamp from YWH,i have installed the lamp in a commercial projector with very good result. The reflector is very small, about 1 1/2 inch diameter but the lamp fit very well,i had to make a small 1 inch hole on the back of the projector to make it possible .
My projector is very small ,7 inches wide by 6 inches large, 2 inches high. OLYMPUS VP-1 ,1024 *768,1000 lumen with 2000/1 contrast ratio.I can't see the difference with the original lamp, the result is incredible. Thanks to YWH and 18wheeler for their support. |

Hi all!
That's my first post and I have a few question to YWH and 18wheeler. Recently I've bought an ASK IMPRESSION 960 projector. It is not a modern one, but got it rather cheap. It uses MH 575W GS dual ended bulb. Bulb has 750h lifetime and still has 300h left. After it burn out i wonder what would be better: 1. Modify projector to accept metalohalogen lamps (eg.250W HQI lamp approx 23000lumen 8.000h life time) Would the picture in this case become too dim? 2. Find a cheap 575W bulb - i found one at you store around 40bucks. But - I live in Poland. Would it be a possibility to sent this item to Poland? Do i have to acquire paypal account or maybe any other methods are to make a transaction?(These Bulbs in my country are for approx 180bucks) Last question is - when my lamp reach end of its life - 750h - should I uncoditionally remove it or can I use it longer? In other words - will it explode and damage my projector or slowly fades to black?? Thanks in advance for replying |
