Update: Thanks to this website for all the people that post I was able to bypass the ballasts and test the projector. I can't find any spent or dead light modules for this unit that I can relamp myself. This unit normally holds four 610 284 4627 lamps. ymh, do you have anything that will work in this unit, or will I have to totally retrofit a new light source?

Yeah, me too. I need the info as fast as possible, because I need one in about a week from today. I'll try to get a account working on moneybookers, but you'll have to try and send it right after you get the money. Thanks....

Hi
PHILIPS LC 4341 230v Lamp UHP 200 watt Can i replace lamp with another type? Or can i trick the ballast into thinking it has a lamp in it? I tried and tried, there is not light detector etc. Projector stay black if there is not lamp installed/ power connected to ballast. 3 wires goes to the mainboard, black, red, and yellow. Nice if lamp can be replaced with another type

jarkkoh: I believe you can short the outside wires on the three wire harness that runs to the board from each ballast. I actually used a staple to short the wires together. The projector will run. On my sanyo plc xf20 the ballast will still fire, the "lamp light" will come on, and the ballast shut off. The green ready light stays on and I am able to use the projector without any lamps. Hope this helps. |
