I have 2 Osram 200w VIP lamps left over from Sahara S3620 DLP.
Both have ~1000 hours left any ideas where i can get suitable e-ballst or old school psu for it?

I have a lamp that I took from a toshiba pj model TDP-S8 that was given to me. I removed it safely from the reflector, and it does look to be bad (the lamp timer has 1655hrs) What kind should I get from http://www.diypro.us/ to best match this one? And another thing I cannot find anywhere how to reset the lamp timer on this PJ any ideas?

Hi Ywh!

I would like to know if you can adquire a short arc 400w bulb that will work with this ballast+condenser+ignitor set. It is important that it has an L2 of ~76mm (better if it exactly 76).
In case it is of any help to you, here is the bulb I was using.

What are my options now for a infocus sp4805 ? I got it used with a burnt out bulb so the cheaper the bulb the better to make sure its works ok.

Hello, thanks for your reply. The lamp does look good however when it is powered up it stays on for only about 30 seconds then the "lamp" light come on and it goes out. I checked the hour counter and it says this lamp has 1670 hours on it. Also does anyone know how to reset the counter on a Toshiba model TDP-S8 ?
