good news and bad news. good news is that the projector lit up. bad news is that it is super dim. very very dim. so ill take out the module and see if it is all aligned corectly

Mitsubishi LCD projector model LVP-SA51U

the manual says 150w uhp but many sell shp 150w bulb for it. which one is correct

Hi,

I have an Infocus sp 4800 DLP projector that needs a new lamp.

The Infocus SP 4800 uses a 150W SHP lamp.

Would the replacement for an SHP lamp be JYd or JYs, AC or DC?

UHP is a AC lamp, the ballast is AC too. a DC lamp can not work well in a AC ballast .
what is the words on your original Reflector?

yes! this is new SHP lamp, work in Infocus sp 4800 without any problems,
3000hrs !

this type reflector can not be used,I have to use the bulb only.

with my lp500 the bulb was to high up but it couldnt be lowered because the bulb was too long. therefore i couldnt get an optimal position. so i just sold it.

i recieved my Mitsubishi SA51U and i found out that it was actually shp 150w. at least that is what the manual states.

so this new bulb of your is $100 ???
