Default i have a problem and it is ****ing me off

i have a problem and it is pissing me off.

i have been using the ps1 sccreen through my computer and the brightness sucked along with thte quality, so i used it witht the vcr and dvd player and it looked great; but it is not bright enough.

so is the ps1 just a crappy panel that has bad brightness or are my optics just jacked. oh yeah my fresnel is hella warped.

ok here is the deal. i need this done by the 5th of april.

so i got a new panel.

now should i upgrade everything to a 400W SYSTEM.

or should i get a t-15 lamp and get a condenser, and get new fresnels

look at my system for sale you joker. its much better than what you got its super bright and i would have done it for you for cheap.

but to answer your question anyway look at my 150 hqi setup. without a screen i can almost use it as good during day!! imagine it with screen. its projected on a yellowish dirty wall!

If either one of your fresnel lenses is warped then you will be losing a lot of light. I'd try replacing that first and see how that improves things.

well i found out that the reflector that im using isnt really a reflector. its just crappy metal, here is a pic.

so im thinking im just going to stay with 250w and soon get a t-15 style bulb. but in the mean time i need to find a reflector. so does anyone know where i can get a decent reflector

hopefully that will do a lot. so right now my setup is with no reflector.

i am going to have two different sections of my projector. one is for the light and that is already on, and the other is for optics and that will be on soon

my fresnel is warped as well.from the middle... all that does is focus the light even more. so the middle is even brighter! use a cut soda can. the base or even use the whole side of one!! i mean cut the can in half..you neeeeeeeed a reflector dude...don't delay. find any metalic round object dude.. desert spoon for god sakes.

ok i am really happy right now hopefully.

i just ordered a 400w ballast with a bulb for $45.83 shipped. pretty good deal i think, i paid this with paypal.

i also ordered my new 10.4" 640 x 480 16 bit color lcd , and i paid for it with paypal.

the ballast and lcd will be here all by wednesday.

so im thinking about putting lexan xl10 between the light and the fresnel.

my setup now is

bulb--fresnel--lcd

also how much hotter is 400w that 250w
