trying to build a 7" projector and i got 2 condensers out of a old old slide projector...how can i find out which is the best one to use?

I like to use a mini mag light with the top unscrewed as a light source. Hold the condensor approximatly the distance it should be from the rear fresnel and move the lightsource forward and back, see which one looks like it covers the whole fresnel (you can use a piece of paper and tape it to the wall to represent the fresnel) with about the distance you want the condensor from the bulb.
did that make sense? |
