im posting a picture of my projector that is unfinished. i need to know where i should cut holes for the fans. where should the fans go.
and also what tool should i use to cut fans |

I can't really help you with the exact placing of the fans (a diagram of your pj would help) but there are a number of considerations:
1) They must provide adequate airflow over components like the LCD and the lamp, and the ballast if it runs hot 2) Usually a push pull configuration works well. One fan will provide the intake of cool air and another will provide the exhaust 3) Bear in mind that hot air rises 4) Light leakage is another consideration. You can solve this by using vents As for cutting the holes use a large drill bit sufficient for a jigsaw and then just use the saw to cut out the hole. |
