Polaview 3000 LCD Flat Display Panel For Projector
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5174423881 I was wondering if this is a good buy for any OHP Project. I have been reading alot for the past few days and was really interested in making an OHP and LCD Projector. Just to do some testing of them myself. Any help is great and well worth it.

I've been watching that one too. According to a spec sheet somebody put together a couple years back everything they say is true it also says that it handles VGA/NTSC/PAL/SECAM/SVID/RCA unfortuantely it doesn't mention the response time but it doesn't have that for all of them.
I'm keeping a watch on panels on ebay and entering searches under every kind of description I can think of, people use some odd ways to list their stuff. |

I'd say its good for a starter panel from the specs they list, but the price is skyrocketing! I bet it will go well over $100. Get yourself a nice 15" lcd instead, and enjoy 1024x768 or even 1280x1024 resolutions with contrast of over 300 : 1 (depending on the model)

I agree about the price. I just was hoping someone else would suggest this, didn't feel comfortable saying something negative after I said that I was watching it as well. I've been doing some ebay searches and there seem to be some smaller lcds with good resolution. There are some nice panels being sold but the prices are going nuts. |

Considering there's 4 days left, can you not just retract your bid?

I looks like he already retracted one. The other was at only $9.99 the last I looked, it's sure to go up from there. If not it could be used for setting up optics or just sold in a few weeks. Since it has good color somebody would likely buy it. If it stays at the low price using it for testing would be worth the cost as long as the shipping isn't murder.
