Default 250w VS 400w and upkeep

is a 250w MH good enough.. i know it only produces about 25k lumens but fitted with a reflector and condensor will i be enough

(ive browed the forums and found alot of answers and the image im going to be projecting will hopefully be about 70" across and hopefully widescreen. it will also be in a dark room)

and has anoyone worked out how much it costs to run a 250w and a 400w bulb in the uk

(dont know how much pence it cost per whatever its meansured in )

oh.. will a 250w MH bulb work in a 400w ballast

replies soon people.. there a 250w MH low bay light on ebay that looks cheap(to buy)

go with the 400w. the brightness is worth the extra few pence you'll spend each month (assuming you'll run the projector constantly, anyway).

also; a 250w bulb will NOT work with a 400w ballast.

I think your building a 15" pj, if I was you go with the 400w, you will get a brighter image and it will prob be more impressive. You may need a extra fan but would be worth it
