Default My new projector

Just wanted to post up a few pics of the new projector i just finished. It uses a 15" Multisync 1560v+, 400 watt halide and a lens kit from LL. The HTPC will be built into the frame when i have more time to work on it.

Very nice work! Love the metal.

It looks like you might be having problems with dark edges, or is this just the camera?

What projection lense did you go with?

Again, nice job

Very nice work.

The edges are darker on all 15"+ monitor projectors that don't use a precondensor - it shows up on camera much more than it shows up IRL.

Very nice work , I like that you used a 15" Display LCD. I was thinking about ripping my free 18" Dell apart and using it , but that would be a pain and it has dark spots.

I really like that design , got any schematics on it?

Yea, love the metal finish! Really really do! And the screenshots are good too, is that SharkTale in the first one?
What a massive image!

One comment - whats with the very yellow tint? Really messes up the colors!

Overall great job! How'd it feel to see this baby light up a 140 inch image?

Oh ye - lets see some of the insides

Cheers,
Alex

Thanks guys, there are no real dark edges unless you look really hard the camera does this all do. The yellow tint is also the camera, just bought it yesterday and haven't had time to mess with the settings yet. I'll see if i can get some images of the inside posted up, oh and it uses the lens kit from Lumenlab.
